First things first he got to open his presents! He's still way into Starwars so it was a lightsaber (now we have 3, so each boy can defend himself) and a couple different SW lego sets.
Then it was off to watch the F15's take off! Those things are awesome! We hosted one of David's friends from his AF days who was in town flying some of those overhead... to have a fighter pilot in your midst is just coooooool! the jets take off around 10 & 2 if you want to check em out!
OH and you can tell we stopped @ Krispy Kreme on the way there for a birthday donut!
That evening we had a cool party...I mean pool party and the weather was a little coool! But I think all 11 boys and 1 girl had a good time!
Oh and for his 6th birthday Hawkin got to learn to shoot his first BB gun! He and daddy had an absolute blast shooting cans!
It's hard to believe it's been 6 years. I'm finally starting to realize how fast it goes. Hawkin can make his bed, get his own drinks, use the bathroom by himself, help out with chores... He's really growing up! Next month he will go to school ALL day! YIKES!

Happy Birthday, Hawkin. I remember the day you were born. I was waiting on pins and needles to know if you were a girl or a boy.
wow, he is really growing up!!! I remember him running around your German home bringing me things to look at and then dashing to the door to see what was going on outside... happy birthday big guy!
